President's Medal for 10 ITBP personnel

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) Ten personnel of the para miltary Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were today awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medals for Meritorious Service.

Two senior ITBP officials - Inspector General Rajeev Mehta and Deputy Inspector General Mangal Singh Danu - received the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

The following are the winners of the Police Medal for Meritorious Service: Deputy Inspector General K B Singh, Commandant P S Papta, Chief Medical Officer Dr A K Singh, Inspector Mohan Singh Thakur, Inspector Harbans Lal, Sub-Inspector Bijender Prasad, Sub-Inspector Satya Singh and Head Constable Ganga Singh.
