Munda lambasts Opposition
Jamshedpur, Aug 14 (UNI)Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda charged the Opposition in the state of disrupting development works of the government and said the people would give a befitting reply at an appropriate time.
Kicking off the BJP's Life Membership Fund Programme at Adityapur in Kharsawan-Seraikela district last evening the Chief Minister reiterated that his government would complete its full term as it is 'safe and secured'.
He said the opposition should play a constructive role and should extend all possible help to make Jharkhand a model state instead of criticizing the good works done by the government.
Mr Munda said the prospective investors like Mittal Steels and Tata Steel would set up their industries as per the schedule in the state.
''The only hitch is the supply of uninterrupted power supply to industries that would come up. But the government is initiating all steps to ensure adequate power supply and all the industries desiring to set up plants would not be disappointed,'' he asserted while addressing the party activists.
Brushing aside the fear of losing land and being deprived of compensation by the land owners due to setting up of industries, the Chief Minister assured that the new rehabilitation and settlement policies framed by the government would spell-out all the doubts and they would get their dues.
Mr Munda also reassured that all the development-oriented projects including creation of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) would be completed in time.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a new building of the Singhbhum Homoeopathic Medical College and Hopspital in the steel city here today.
