MP under security umbrella
Bhopal, Aug 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh is under a security umbrella ahead of tomorrow's independence day celebrations.
''Bomb-disposal squads have been deployed at key locations particularly crowded areas. The personnel were provided sniffer dogs and detectors. A special 'bandobast' is in place at the local function's venue that is waterlogged courtesy overnight downpours but work is underway to drain it,'' said Inspector-General Ashok Soni.
Criminal elements are being apprehended across the state and several anti-socials elements were arrested.
''Every railway station, bus stand and hotel is under priority surveillance,'' the officer added.
