Blast rocks Sri Lankan capital, Team India safe
Colombo, Aug 14: A bomb blast today rocked the Sri Lankan capital just a kilometre away from hotel Taj Samudra where Team India is staying.
However, the players are safe and were not even aware of the incident.
Team's media manager Rajan Nair told sources that the blast took place one km away from the team hotel and there was nothing to worry about.
''We were not even aware of the incident till somebody came and informed us. We didn't hear anything either,'' he said.
''There's nothing to worry. All the players in the hotel are safe and secure,'' he added.
