TV 9 Kannada channel will be launched next mth

Hubli, Aug 13: One more Kannada news channel ''TV.9'' will be available for the people of Karnataka soon, according to producer of the channel Ranganath Bhardwaj.

Addressing a press conference here today, he said the new 24-hour news channel would start functioning from the first week of next month.

Mr Bhardwaj said that besides covering politics, importance will also be given to cinema, automobiles and marketing in the channel with seven studios coming up in the State at a time for the purpose.

The channel was already available in Andhra Pradesh, where it has more viewers, he said adding it was proposed to start Marathi and Bengali channels in the coming days.
