Six injured in cylinder blast in Mumbai
Mumbai, Aug 13: Six peoples were injured when the first floor of a three-storey building in Balkeshwar Road in the Malabar Hill area of the city collapsed due to a gas cylinder explosion.
Police sources said the incident took place in the wee hours today when a leaking cooking gas cylinder belonging to Damodar Haribhai Mithaiwala on the ground floor of the building 'Sagar Cottage', exploded damaging the first floor of the building.
All injured were rushed to Nair Hospital where three were admitted and others treated as OPD patients.
The injured include Mohd Naseem (22), Moosa Abdul (40), Manoj Sahu (32), Ladu Sahu (40), Abdul Ahmed (38) and Manoj Saha (21).Two of these work as watchmen for the building.
