Mumbai, Aug 13: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index is expected to open in the green on the back of positive sentiments at the close of this week.

Experts believe that the investors have gained their confidence back, as all the negative factors for a while have been put to rest. The war between Israel and Lebanon, hike in Fed's interest rates and the increase in crude oil price above the US Dollar 76 per barrel mark have all been dealt with a positive frame of mind this week and have not been able to impact the bourses in the negative.

Besides, the quarter one performance and the above average rainfall will weigh heavily on the bourses next week, experts added.

Above all, control in the rate of inflation to 4.61 per cent for the week from the previous weeks 4.67 per cent is likely to sustain the positivity on the bourses, besides the hike in crude oil price could prove to be a dampner but not to a large extent.

Keeping the last two days trading sessions performance in mind it is likely that the rupees performance against US dollar would firm up. Rupee is expected to trade in the range of Rs 46.30 to 46.60 per US Dollar.

Also the surge in foreign exchange reserves this week to US Dollar 165 billion will counter the volatility in the market.Overall the market next week is expected to be volatile but positive.
