Landslides Jammu-Srinagar highway closed

Doda, Aug 13: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed since this morning due to landslides in Ramban area of Doda district, police sources said.

Heavy landslides have taken place at three places on the highway causing disruption to the traffic. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on both sides of the highway, sources added.

No loss of life or property has been reported so far. Border Road Organisation officials have started to clear the debris.
