Cows killed by poisoning in shivpuri

Shivpuri, Aug 13: Unidentified persons have slain two cows by feeding them a poisonous substance in this district's Chandanpura forest, police said.

Janaki Dhakad's cattle went out to graze on August 11 but did not return and she began searching for them yesterday. The bovines were found dead.

Cow slaughter is a punishable offence in Madhya Pradesh.
