Chinese army to celebrate I-Day on the Indian border

Bumla, Aug 13 (UNI) India and China will take the bilateral relationship, a step forward with the latter coming to the Indian side to celebrate the Independence Day.

The Chinese army would cross over the McMohan line to participate in the Independence Day celebrations, the army officials informed here today.

The Indian Army has made all arrangements here to receive the Chinese guests on the I-day.

Bumla is the end frontier of Indo-China border, situated at 15,500 feet above the sea level, where the temperature remains below zero degree Celsius around the year and is known as the world's most inhospitable battle grounds after Siachen.

About 90 strong Chinese delegation would come here to participate in the day-long programme and the vital Border Personnel meeting (BPM).
