Two killed by security forces in Kashmir

Baramulla, Aug 12: Two persons, including a woman, were killed by security forces due to mistaken identity sparking massive protests in north Kashmir, official sources said.

An ambush party of the security forces opened fire at Nadihal Drugmulla in north Kashmir early this morning when they noticed some movement in the area, official sources said.

Later, during search bodies of Ghulam Mohiuddin and Robeena were recovered.

They said security forces opened fire after they suspected that they were militants.

People at Nadihal took to streets after the bodies were handed over to their relatives by police.

The demonstrators blocked the traffic on the main road and alleged that the two people were killed by the security forces without any provocation.They demanded immediate action against the security forces.
