System may concentrate into a depression

Visakhapatnam, Aug 12 (UNI) The low pressure area over North Bay of Bengal off North Orissa-West Bengal coast developed into a well marked system and may concentrate into a depression.

According to a special bulletin issued by Cyclone Warning Centre here, under its influence, rains or thundershowers were likely at many places over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hrs.

Strong surface winds from westerly direcion with speed reaching 45 to 50 Kmph were likely along and off north Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hrs, the bulletin added.
