New State Election Commissioner appointed

Bhopal, Aug 12 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government has appointed Mr A V Singh as the new State Election Commissioner.

Mr Singh's resignation from the post of Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) Chairman has been accepted, an official release said here today.

Chief Secretary Rakesh Sahni would hold the additional charge as the NVDA chairman, the release added.
