Modi surveys central Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Aug 12 (UNI) Chief Minister Narendra Modi today made an aerial survey of upstream areas affected by the overflowing Mahi river.

The Chief Minister surveyed Kadana dam, Panam dam, Vanakabori dam and 264 villages on the banks of Mahi river in the Vadodara district.

He also asked the officials to start immediate rescue and relief operations for the people living on the embankments of the overflowing Mahi and Shedi rivers of Vadodara district.
