Maoist will unleash counter attacks: Azad

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) The Central Committee of CPI (Maoist) has called for counter attacks to avenge the killing of its State Secretary Madhav in a recent encounter with police.

In a statement released to the press here today, Maoist official spokesperson Azad asserted that despite such encounters, the ''revolutionary movement'' could not be curbed.

Azad also alleged that the Grey Hounds team (anti-naxal force), during the operation, opened fire when the Maoists were fast asleep and had not made any effort to take the injured to hospitals for getting them treated.
