Kalam gets direct link with children

New Delhi, Aug 12 (UNI) Children can now talk directly with President APJ Abdul Kalam with the Rashtrapati Bhavan today launching a multi-media studio.

The state-of-the-art studio built by the public sector Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Ltd. will allow the First Citizen to interact live with children from across the country, a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said.

Besides President Kalam's favourite 'Question and Answer' session with children, the studio will also help him conduct his lectures for various educational institutions, he said.

''It is a full-fledged studio with video and audio facilities,'' he said.
