Gold, silver falls on weak global advice

Mumbai, Aug 12: Values of spot silver and gold fell in the opening session on weak global advice, according to traders at the bullion market today.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,725, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,595, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,645.
