Congress worker's charred body found
Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 12 (UNI) Tension prevailed today in Tadipatri after the charred body of a Congress worker Kulasekhara Reddy was found in his burnt car.
Police said in the recent Gram Panchayat elections, Kulasekhara's mother Vardamma had bagged the sarpanch's post by defeating CPI local leader Viswanatha Reddy's mother.
And when the worker's charred body was found in Viswanatha Reddy's garden in Chukkaluru village, the irked Congress workers alleged that the death was not due to an accident but was a murder.
The police has sent additional forces to the Chukkaluru village to meet any eventuality. Authorities, however, said they were yet to decide whether it was an accident or a murder.
