Bihar assembly adjourned sine die

Patna, Aug 12 (UNI) The nine-day monsoon session of Bihar assembly, which began on August 4, was today adjourned sine die.

The session had six sittings in which many important bills inclduing Bihar Ministers Salary and Dearness Allowance Bill-2006, Bihar Legislators Salary and DA bill-2006, Bihar Legislature (Officers Salary and DA) Bill-2006, Bihar VAT (Amendment) Bill-2006 and others were passed.

The House also took up special debates on farmers' problems and deteriorating law and order situation of the state.

Of 692 accepted questions, 54 were answered and replies of 89 were tabled in the House.
