5 IPS officers transferred

Lucknow, Aug 12 (UNI) In a minor administrative reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government today transferred five Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

Ajay Kumar Mishra Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Meerut has been transferred as Superintendent of Police (SP) Sultanpur, while Nachiketa Jha ASP Varanasi is the new SP Economic Offence Wing (EOW), Kanpur.

Modak Rajesh Dinesh Rao ASP Kanpur (City) is SP Shravasti, while K S Emanuel ASP Agra has been transferred as SP Deoria.

Prakash D SP CB-CID Lucknow has been posted as SP Hamirpur.
