ULFA attacks SP's convoy

Guwahati, Aug 11 (UNI) Three jawans were killed and as many injured when ULFA insurgents attacked the convoy of Tinsukia district Superintendent of Police (SP) near Tengeri Tiniali this evening.

According to reports here, the naxals hurled a bomb towards the convoy which missed the SP's car and hit the Margherita Sub-Divisional Police Officer's (SDPO) vehicle.

The SP escaped unhurt in the incident.

Details were awaited.
