Security tightened at Jaipur airport
Jaipur, Aug 11 (UNI) Security has been beefed up at Jaipur international airport following a plot to blow up aircrafts in midflight between Britain and US.
Arun Talwar, the director of Airport Authority of India, Jaipur, told UNI: ''The security arrangements were reviewed yesterday following the London reports and they have been strengthened.'' Relatives of passengers are not being allowed to enter the airports. ''People who come to see off or welcome the passengers are not being allowed in to the airport following the bomb blasts in Mumbai last month. Entry tickets are not being sold from the counters since a month.'' The passengers and their luggage are being subjected to strict security check, said Mr Talwar.
