Lucknow, Aug 11 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government today hiked the retirement age of non-teaching employees of government-aided technical institutes in the state from 58 to 60 yrs.
As per the cabinet decision, the two-year hike covers all the 19 government aided technical institutes.
It was also decided to deduct 30 per cent from retirement and pension benefits of retired executive engineer of irrigation department Y K Sharma for financial irregularities to the tune of Rs 90 lakh during his tenure.
The government decided to bring fresh legislation in the coming monsson session of UP legislature commencing August 21 on the reservation policy in state private colleges.
