New Weekly train between Yeswantpur and Ajmer introduced

Bangalore, Aug 11 (UNI) A new Weekly Garib Nawaz Express between Yeswantpur and Ajmer was flagged off from Yeswantpur Station here today.

The Train No 6532, departs from here at 1735 hrs on every Friday to reach Ajmer at 1730 hrs on every Sunday via Guntakal, Bellary, Hospet, Hubli, Miraj, Pune, Kalyan, Surat and Ahmedabad.

On the return journey as train No 6631 it would leave Ajmer at 0550 hrs on every Monday and reach Yeswantpur at 0600 hrs on every Wednesday on the same route.

Speaking on the occasion, South Western Railway (SWR) General Manager Trilok Nath Perti said that the works on Bijapur-Bagalkot new line would be completed this month and Basavanabagewadi-Bijapur line by December.

The passenger train service between Hassan-Mangalore was expected to be commence next month as testing of the newly converted track with goods services has already started.
