IOD confers Distinguished Fellow award on Behuria

New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Haryana Governor Dr A R Kidwai today presented the prestigious 'Distinguished Fellow' award by the Institute of Directors (IOD), to IndianOil Chairman Sarthak Behuria here.

Mr Behuria is the Chairman of Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed). As Vice-President, he also represents Asia on the board of World LPGas Association.

Under his leadership, IndianOil is transforming into a major, diversified transnational integrated energy comapany, and has set its sight to reach 60 billion dollar revenues by 2010-11 from the current earnings of 41 billion dollar.

IOD is a premier association of Directors representing the Government, industry and business and focussing on management issures at Board level. It organises nationwide competitions to recognise corporate excellence in various fields of management.

Many eminent personalities including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh were also present at the function.
