Indian Oil launches SMS refill booking system in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Aug 11 (UNI) Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), one of the leading Fortune 500 petroleum companies, today launched its first SMS refill booking system in Jaipur.

With the exponential growth in mobile coverage and the declining cost of mobile usage, this facility would be a faster and cheaper option, company General Manager (LPG) Mrinal Roy said here.

He said this facility would eventually be extended to cover the entire state by September this year. This would benefit over 16 lakh households in the state.

Under the facility, the customer will be sent a reply for his SMS, confirming booking, thereby eliminating chances of foul play by the service provider.
