Haryana Cong defends Hooda govt on Chander Mohan issue

Chandigarh, Aug 11 (UNI) Haryana Congress today defended the presence of the CID constable at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan, saying that he was on a security duty.

Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) working president Dr Ram Prakash, who was speaking to mediapersons after attending the first meeting of the newly appointed presidents of the District Congress Committees (DCC) here today, said the CID constable caught from the residence of Deputy CM was on security duty and it was the responsiblity of the government to provide security to its politicians.

HPCC working president exorted the DCC presidents to work diligently to strengthen the party and to see that all the sections are duly represented in the executive bodies of the DCCs.

He said the constitution of these bodies would be completed by August 20.
