Four fishing boats damaged in collision

Mangalore, Aug 11 (UNI) Four country fishing boats have been damaged when they collided with each other due to gusty winds and rough sea, near berth number eight of the New Mangalore port at Panambur late last night.

Police said that under the impact of the collision, the fibre boards of the boats have been ripped off and the engines fallen into the sea.

All the fishermen who had ventured into the sea were returning to the shore safely, despite the bad weather, police added.
