Cop arrested with drugs

Kohima, Aug 11 (UNI) A constable of the District Executive Force (DEF), Dimapur, was arrested by the sleuths of the Narcotics department yesterday.

They seized 24 grams of brown sugar from his possession.

The accused has been remanded in judicial custody and booked under Narcotic Drugs Possession and Supply Act, 1985. Further investigation was on to apprehend the other members of the smuggling gang with whom the constable was involved, sources said.
