Charges framed in DIG murder case

Patna, Aug 11 (UNI) A fast track court of Patna today framed charges against six accused in the DIG murder case.

The charges were framed under sections 396 and 412 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) by the fast track court judge of Patna Krishna Mohan Srivastava. All the six accused in the case are already in jail.

According to the FIR, a retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Anil Kumar Singh was shot dead when he tried to resist a train docoity in a super fast express train between Rajendra Nagar terminal and Patna junction on June 4 last.
