Bright, sunny day in Kolkata

Kolkata, Aug 11 (UNI) Kolkata today experienced bright and sunny day today after a few spells of showers in the last few days.

The Met department said here that 2 mm rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 30.2 degree Celsius while the minimum was 26.6 degree Celsius.

However, there was no respite on the humidity front as it stood at 96 per cent.

Met sources forecast light to medium showers in the next 24 hours.
