UNLF cadre arrested

Imphal, Aug 9 (UNI) Imphal East district commando has arrested a cadre of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) here in the past 24 hours, the Imphal East Superintendent of Police today.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man identified as Khunaijam Premkumar of Nilakuthi was shot dead by some unknown armed persons last evening.

Police said they recovered an empty cartridge of 9 mm from the spot.
