Two HM Militants arrested

Jammu, Aug 9 (UNI) The security forces and the police today arrested two Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants at Thanalla area of Kishtwar in Doda district.

Official sources said, the interrogation has started and some important informations are expected from the militants.

The militants have been identified as Mohammad Sadiq and Abdul Rashid, both residents of Thanalla area of Kishtwar in Doda district.

One highly explosive grenade of HE-36 brand was recovered from them.

The army arrested three Over Ground Workers (OGW) -- Ghulam Rasool, Shabir Shah and Mohammad Hafiz. All of them were later handed over to the police.

In another incident, security forces rescued one recruit at Bhaderwah last night. He has been indentified as Rashid Sheikh (16) of Hizbul Mujahideen.
