Tata Asset Management to launch close-end debt scheme

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) Tata Asset Management Ltd today filed initial papers with the market regulator SEBI to launch a close-end debt fund.

Announcing this, the company said today that the Tata Fixed Horizon Fund Series 7 would offer six schemes of varying maturities ranging between 13 and 20 months. The fund will invest in debt and money market instruments and securitised debt. The minimum investment in the fund would be 10,000 rupees.

As of end-July, the fund house managed assets worth about Rs 12,300 crore, data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) showed.
