Sourav fans rejoice

Kolkata, Aug 9 (UNI) Euphoric at his selection, fans of Sourav Ganguly today rejoiced their hero's comeback in the national squad of probables for Champions Trophy following an 11-month traveil.

As television channels aired the news of Sourav being selected, bands of cricket buffs gathered in front of the residence of 'Prince of Calcutta' shouting 'Sourav zindabad'.

The cheering mob also made Sourav to come out and accept flower bouqets and garlands as a token of their love.

In a twist of event, the Sourav fans even shouted 'Kiran More zindabad' congratulating the national selection committee chairman who was repeatedly jeered by the local cricket crazy youths in the past allegedly for being reponsble for Sourav's ouster from the national side.
