Red cross offer help for flood affected people
Hyderabad, Aug 9 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh branch of the Indian Red Cross was fully involved in distributing relief material to the flood affected people of Bhadrachalam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam Adilabad, Nizamabad and Warangal.
Secretary of the Red Cross Society K Rajyalakshmi said that the society headed by the Governor Rameshwar Thakur has always been in forefront in mitigating the sufferings of people in the districts.
Dr Rajyalakshmi said the AP branch has been providing immediate relief to the poor and downtrodden who were are need in times of disaster and organising and coordinating relief measures.
