PCC supports action against Natwar

Jaipur, Aug 9 (UNI) Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) president B D Kalla today said the state party unit is with the central leadership in initiating disciplinary action against former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh who belongs to the desert state.

The Disciplinary Committee of the AICC headed by A K Antony decided to suspend the former External Affairs minister from the primary membership of the party last night for his utterances following the publication of the Justice Pathak Authority report which inquired his role in the oil-for-food scam.

When asked on the action being contemplated against Jagat Singh, son of Natwar Singh, he said Jagat Singh is an AICC member, only the Congress Committee can decide on that.

Jagat Singh is an MLA in the Rajasthan Assembly.
