Life term awarded to kidnappers

Patna, Aug 9 (UNI) Fast Track court judge of Patna Ram Prawesh Chaubey today awarded life imprisonment to two persons in a case of kidnapping for ransom.

Judge Mr Chaubey found guilty a resident of Supaul Shashi Bhushan Singh and Dhiraj Kumar of Madhuban for kidnapping a school going boy for ransom.

According to the charges, a school going boy Aman Raj alias Prince was kidnapped on September 30, 2003 from Kankarbagh police station of Patna by the convicts, who demanded a ransom of Rs five lakh against his safe release.
