Congress leader Khem Raj Katara dead

Jaipur, Aug 9 (UNI) Congress leader and former minister Khem Raj Katara passed away early this morning.

He was 53. A chronic diabetic and heart patient Khem Raj breathed his last at 0230 hrs.

He is survived by his wife and three sons.

Family sources said he would be cremated this evening.

He represented Udaipur (Rural) constituency thrice. He was also a minister for a brief period.

Former Rajasthan chief minister and AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot is expected to attend the cremation.
