Sagar, MP, Aug 9 (UNI) Any student celebrating the diamond jubilee year of the Dr Hari Singh Gaur University here will not be able to include soft drinks in the party as such drinks have been banned in the institution's premises in the wake of alleged pesticide content.

An order to this effect was issued by Registrar B L Bunkar on August 7 following Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan enforcing a similar ban in government offices.

A report by the New Delhi-based Centre for Science and Environment revealed the presence of the pesticides.
