Babulal dares UPA face mid-term poll
Ranchi, Aug 9 (UNI) Placing the ball in the Opposition UPA's court, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP deserter Babulal Marandi today said if the Congress-led allies were prepared for the mid-term poll, he could topple the Arjun Munda government in no time.
Mr Marandi, president of Jharkhand Vikash Morcha, had been aggressively advocating mid-term poll since he resigned from the BJP's primary membership in May last.
Talking to reporters at Hazaribagh, Mr Marandi said an alternative government at present in the state was not a solution, adding he could dislodge the BJP-led NDA government without any trouble.
The JVM president said the NDA had not been able bring development in the state and its leaders were now engaged in political rhetorics only.
The Congress recetnly stated that it was not prepared for mid-term poll for the state faced Assembly election just a year ago.
