Airtel brings budget plan for prepaid customers

Chennai, Aug 9: Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider, today launched a new 'budget plan', designed for its prepaid customers in Tamil Nadu, as part of Airtel's celebration of India's 60th Independence Day.

Popular actor Ramya Krishnan launched the new pack, which offers all local calls to Airtel mobiles at 60 paise per minute, 100 free local SMS per day and all other local calls at Rs one per minute.

Announcing the launch of the new plan CEO, Mobility Chennai and Tamil Nadu, P Swanimathan said the plan was mainly developed for the specific segment of people whose usage was high though the budget for mobile expenses was limited.

"Our aim is to offer attractive and affordable tariff plans to customers.

The budget plan provides unlimited opportunities in a limited budget to our ever-increasing customer base," he added.

The new plan offers various exclusive and economical features to its customers, and the tariff offers maximum savings due to low call charges, he added.
