4 murder accused sentenced to life

Pratapgarh, Aug 9 (UNI) A Fast Track Court here sentenced to life four persons accused in a murder case.

According to prosecution, Saeeduddin and his father Nasir were brutally beaten by Imamuddin, Jawahar, Mustkim and Shabbir in 1995, when they were going for a case hearing outside their village.

While Nasir died on the spot, his son and another person got seriously wounded.

Besides life imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 3,000 each, Fast Track Court judge Raghvendra also sentenced the accused to 10 yrs imprisonment and a penalty of Rs 2,000 each for attempting another murder.
