'The Wall' urges for steps to prevent terrorists attacks

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) Indian cricket team skipper Rahul Dravid today urged for taking steps to prevent re currence of recent serial bomb blast incident that rocked the Mumbai metropolis taking the lives of more than 190 people and giving scores of people injured.

Expressing his anguish over the inicident Dravid said that ''some concrete steps should be taken to see that such incident do not re occure.

Dravid was speaking at Mumbai Not Out' -- a charity dinner to raise funds for the Mumbai blast victims organised by Vyas Ginnetti Creatuive here.

Thanking the Corporates who contributed to the fund tonight, Dravid said that ''te responseto the fund raising has provided that Indians would fight against any such terrorist attacs. People of Mumbai have proved that they can not be moved by those who used mindless terror.

Dravid and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar presented a cheque for an amount of Rs 20,15,000 to Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Sachin, Ajit Agarkar and Romesh Powar also released 'Wrist Band'with 'Mumbai Not Out' written on it. Funds were raised through the sale of donor tables to Corporate houses like Aditya Birla Group, Birla Sun Life Financial services, Dimexon Diamonds Limited.

Star TV, Tata Group and TV Today Network. Each donor were presented with the Special Frame containing a bat and autographs of the Team India players.

Besides the Sri Lanka Bound Team, trainer Sregory Allen King, bio mechanist Ian Frazer, KSCA president Ram Prasad and Secretary Brijesh Pfatel were among those present at the Dinner.
