Suicide attack foiled, two Pak militants killed

Jammu, Aug 8 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police foiled a major suicide attack on a vital establishment this morning by killing two Pakistani militants at Nagrota area, about six km from the city.

Police and army sources told UNI that the two militants were planning to attack an establishment in the Nagrota area. However, the security forces challenged them on receiving specific information.

In a fierce encounter that ensued, both the terrorists were killed on the spot at around 0400 hours, sources added.

A huge quantity of arms and ammunition, including two AK 47 rifles, several magazines, grenades, AK rounds and RDX have been recovered from slain terrorists.

They are yet to be identified.
