PM greets people on 'Raksha Bandhan'

New Delhi, Aug 8: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of 'Raksha Bandhan', the festival of affection and commitment.

In a message, Dr Singh said 'Rakhi' symbolises affection, commitment and happiness.

''On this auspicious occasion, let us make renewed efforts to promote peace and harmony in the society,'' he added.
