Jk Govt asks people to avoid soft drinks

Jammu, Aug 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir controller Drugs and Food Control Organisation, has advised the public in general to avoid consuming soft drinks like Coca Cola and Pepsi as they reportedly contain highly toxic, acidic and addictive ingredients.

The Controller has also impressed upon all the soft drinks manufacturing units in the State to use pure water for manufacturing the goods. Water free from contamination should be used for manufacturing the soft drinks, said a government release.
