Bangladeshi national arrested near Taj Mahal
Agra, Aug 8: Police arrested a minor Bangladeshi national ''loitering around Taj Mahal'' and charged him with illegally entering India.
Official sources today said Mohd Ripun Ali of Khushalpada in Nomastipur of Gyapai Nawabganj was arrested in Sadar Bazaar area ''loitering'' under mysterious circumstances yesterday.
During interrogation, he confessed to having entered India illegally for his desire to have a ''glimpse of the Taj.'' Ali claimed he had been ''walking for the last one-and-half years to reach Agra.'' According to him, he first reached Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka and crossed over to India at Mohamadipur border point.
After reaching Agra, he could not enter the premises of the world famous monument for want of money.
Meanwhile, investigations were on.
