Addressing a press conference here, AIKS Vice-President Kolli Nageswara Rao said with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, speaking to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh yesterday, seeking the assistance of the army personnel, deployment of armed forces to rescue marooned people was necessary in view of grim flood situation in the state.
