APBCWA demands AP govt to stop land auction

Hyderabad, Aug 08: Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Association (APBCWA) President R Krishnaiah today demanded that state government stop the auction of government lands here and include the land issue under the ninth schedule of constitution.

Addressing mediapersons here, he charged the government with selling the public lands to the corporate companies.

He alletged that the government was not sincere in protecting the lands, which would be useful for public in future.

Demanding that the government construct houses for the poor, who received patta on government lands he also added that the government had no authority to sell the lands in the state.
